Front-end developer

About the role

Liza is recruiting a contract front-end developer with 4+ years of mobile and web development experience. Strong preference for knowledge of web libraries and frameworks such as React or Vue, and experience with Javascript. The role will be completely remote (but working with a US-based team) and begins with a 4-week contract (possibility for more work depending on outcomes). We are also recruiting for a back-end developer so full-stack developers could be considered for both roles.

About Liza

Liza is a social venture designed to increase access to credit for under-banked populations in America. Without a strong credit score, life can be more expensive, and it is harder to access wealth building opportunities like a car, home or education. Liza offers a fintech solution to building credit – borrowing from family and friends via the Liza platform customers will be able to build their credit score until they can access mainstream credit.

Liza’s founders (Jess, Tyler & Bukie) are based in Boston, MA, and met whilst at Harvard Business School. The venture operates on funds from Harvard Innovation Lab, the Acumen Academy & the Rockefeller Foundation. Our team brings diverse experience and skills but shares a passion for social change, particularly financial inclusion.
